My final alien remnants

Last night, I decided to shed my last interuteran connection--my belly button stub. Because my verbal skills are yet to be fully realized, I chose to clue the parents by pooping and emitting an awful stench. Even so, it took my sleepy father a minute to realize that it was gone. In what seems to be a developing pattern, he became squeamish and made my mother search for the remains, (which if you forget, looks like a raisin attached to a Serger stitch). Not only did she find it, but it seems that she is planning on keeping it for posterity. What's with these people?

Afternoon At The Zoo...

This afternoon two bears were sighted hibernating in a West Des Moines den...
It appears as if the papa bear is frightened upon realizing his cub is, indeed, half polar bear.

My trip to Dr. Amy's office

This morning, I went to the Dr. Amy Wallin's office to have my bilirubin levels checked. When I left the hospital, my levels were between 10.6-10.8 (I forget exactly). Today, my skin color looked so good, Dr. Amy didn't even have to test blood from my heel.

I was weighed while at the office and despite my propensity to poop (which my father deems excessive) I gained 1 ounce to bring my current weight to 7 pounds, 3 ounces. I liked Dr. Amy. Nice lady. I think I'll go back in a couple of weeks and check in on her to see how she's doing.

My first pics

Hi, I'm new here

Welcome to Hello, My Name is Millie.

You definitely know who I am, but I may not know who you are. For the sake of introductions, I welcome you to leave some comments on here about who you are.

While we're on the topic of introductions, let me tell you more about me. Normally, a lady does not divulge her age, but I'm feeling spunky. I was born on February 11, 2009 at 12:20pm. Again, it's normally uncouth to ask a lady's measurements so I'll do you a favor and confirm your guesses. On the day I was born, I weighed 7lbs., 12.3oz. and stood 1-7 1/2 (19.5 inches). When I left the hospital two days later, I weighed in at 7lbs., 2oz.

Please join me here on Hello, My Name is Millie on my journey into this crazy thing called life. I'll be posting some pictures and keeping all of you updated with my little "Milliestones" from time to time.
